Twelve months after a shock last-16 exit at the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, USA were back on the top of the world at Paris 2024. With new coach Emma Hayes at the helm, they mixed defensive steel with attacking flair throughout the tournament. The Americans edged past Brazil 1-0 in the final, with Mallory Swanson netting the winning goal. Germany overcame world champions Spain by the same scoreline in the battle for bronze.

FIFA Futsal World Cup Uzbekistan 2024™

Third place: Ukraine
An electrifying tournament came to a fitting conclusion when historic rivals Brazil and Argentina faced off in the biggest ever Futsal World Cup final. A Seleção came out on top, winning 2-1 in a nerve-shredding contest in Tashkent. Brazil have now won six of the competition’s ten editions.

Pachuca had embarked on a remarkable run to the final, booking the showdown with Los Blancos by beating Botafogo and Al Ahly.
