The UAE side trail leaders FC Nasaf by two points with only the group winners assured of an automatic spot in the Round of 16.Jordan’s Al Faisaly, however, will aim to end their debut campaign on a high note, having found the continental stage a difficult but enlightening experience.

Having already created history by defeating Qatar’s Al Sadd SC for their first ever AFC Champions League group stage win, the Jordanian side will be keen on another three points before signing off. Sharjah’s bid for the automatic knockout stage spot suffered a setback when they fell 2-0 at home to Al Sadd last week.

The only thing Sharjah can do now is focus on defeating Al Faisaly and hope that Al Sadd can do the same to Nasaf for the Emirati side to finish top, with second place no guarantee they can advance.
