Riyadh: Al Hilal SFC will aim to end their group stage campaign with a fifth consecutive win when they host Nassaji Mazandaran on Monday.

Last week’s 2-0 win over Uzbekistan’s Navbahor confirmed the four-time Asian champions as the Group D winners but the in-form side will not be satisfied with that.
Al Hilal followed up their win over Navbahor with an impressive 3-0 defeat of Al Nassr in a Saudi Pro League 2023/24 tie on Friday, opening a seven-point gap at the top.

They will be determined to maintain the momentum as they bid to win the AFC Champions League title for a third time after having being denied by Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan last season.Nassaji’s hopes were dashed long ago but the Islamic Republic of Iran side would have enjoyed their debut campaign.

They will be keen to sign off on a high note and Al Hilal can expect resilient opponents on Monday.
